The WehlCut™ is an innovative vertical cutting technique, specifically developed for curly hair. While traditional methods are often based on cutting wet hair and working with horizontal layers, the WehlCut™ focuses on dry cutting in the natural fall of the hair. This preserves each curl’s shape and creates natural volume and balance in the hairstyle.

A key element of the technique is the use of a special curved scissor, which allows for extra precision and a more natural result. Equally important is the specific way the scissor is held and moved. This hand position ensures that the curl is followed perfectly in its natural pattern.
Although the technique can be applied with a classic straight scissor, the combination of the correct tool and correct hand positioning delivers the most refined and professional result.
